I was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer in October 2022. Joining Bowel Cancer Australia's patient Facebook page connected me with others, offering crucial support and shared experiences.

I feel lucky to be cancer-free after three years, despite challenges in diagnosis and treatment. Always advocate for yourself and embrace vulnerability.

After a neck fracture revealed my stage four Neuroendocrine Cancer, I found support in a patient community, inspiring hope, advocacy and awareness on World Cancer Day.

At five, I lost my mum to cancer. Though I didn't understand her illness then, I cherish our moments together and continue to honor her love and memory today.

My mom battled Glioblastoma for 9 months, showing strength despite her fear. She cared for others until her passing, leaving a lasting impact on everyone’s lives.
