World Cancer Day is sparking conversations and provoking deeper dialogue on the most critical issues in cancer all around the world.
In 2024, World Cancer Day achieved more than 27,000 press mentions in 159 countries across print, online and broadcast.
The global World Cancer Day press release will be available publicly on the website before World Cancer Day, and will be available to UICC member organisations under embargo in January 2025.
World Cancer Day is a global initiative led by the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC).
