INTEGRATÍVNA ONKOLÓGIA V: Jedinečnosť spája

The Slovak Cancer Research Foundation (www.nvr.sk) is organizing a professional and educational workshop on Integrative Oncology. This event aims to present the experiences of experts from various fields of oncology, both clinicians and scientists. The conference will provide information on cutting-edge analytical and diagnostic technologies, new procedures and tools for biomedicine, and economic aspects. Experts will present the latest trends and opportunities for innovative treatment, such as prehabilitation and rehabilitation, as well as the importance of collecting and analyzing epidemiological data and artificial intelligence use in oncology. The involvement of patient organizations is an integral part of modern oncology, which contributes to a better quality of care. Personal experience with cancer and its sharing in a database of knowledge and scientific findings has the potential to help current and especially future patients. However, this requires cooperation between scientists, clinicians, and patients to find new and improved innovative therapeutic procedures.
