Why donate to World Cancer Day and UICC?
World Cancer Day is a global initiative led by the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC). By raising worldwide awareness, sharing knowledge and catalysing personal, collective and government action, we are all working together to reimagine a world where millions of cancer deaths are prevented and access to life-saving cancer treatment and care is equitable for all.
UICC is the only global cancer organisation representing all cancer types, across the continuum of cancer care (prevention, early detection, treatment and palliative care).
Your donation will help improve cancer care through the Union for International Cancer Control’s actions, such as:

World Cancer Day reaches millions of people around the globe with for example 850+ activities and events in 102 countries, 740+ million social media impressions and 25,000 press mentions in 170 countries (2023).
The vast majority of UICC members confirm that World Cancer Day helps them raise awareness in their region and bring about change for cancer care and control.

The UICC's Membership Support Fund facilitates the participation of organisations with limited resources, primarily from low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), in UICC's diverse range of programmes and activities. Established in 2019, the Fund has already supported over 550 organisations from over 65 countries. By granting them access to valuable member benefits, such as global networking opportunities, skill and knowledge enhancement, and a platform to amplify their voices within the global cancer movement, the Fund is crucial in fostering collaboration and empowerment within the international cancer community.

The Patient Group Mentoring programme is dedicated to supporting patient groups at a regional level.
Patient groups in Asia-Pacific, participating in UICC's Patient Group Mentoring programme, directly served 19,272 patients and reached 169,700 people through activities such as awareness campaigns and public outreach.
