I am a surgeon at the Fondazione IRCCS Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori, Milan, Italy.

The intent of my video is to raise awareness about cancer and to also highlight how much we care about the patient. The video is shot in front of operating room number 12, as looking at this number today, I realized the importance we put in number 1, the patient, and in number 2, the patient with all the people surrounding him, who can give medical care and all kinds of support. And 1 and 2 together makes 12, reminding us that cancer care is all the year round, non-stop.
