Well I was diagnosed with cancer. After I had the scope down my throat  they  biopsied my esophagus.  Then doctor came into my room looked at my wife and I and said I had cancer.  Scared the crap out of me because I grew up with people who had cancer and with an understanding of cancer that it was  a death sentence, goodbye  to your family and children etc.., etc... .
The next day or two  laying awake in bed and looking at my wife sleeping as I'm  freaking out.  I knew I had to write a song of some kind. Just at least to  let it out. This is  what happened.
This  song is called "My Last Goodbye".
I did get the operation November 29, 2024. At the  in Rochester.
I'm recovery now and I go back to work February 10.
Today is February 4th and I'm eating solid foods. Not a whole lot at once but  little meals.  Just like the doctor said would happen. But I'm a surviving.  I seem to be a little more emotional  than I was before. I'm still figuring it out but I'm alive .
