Upside down: not really, Alhamdulillah. 

This experience with cancer turned out to be THE defining moment of my life. Letting go of many unnecessary things which, at that time seemed important, made room for the vital few. Cancer didn’t take me down, but enabled a path to rise higher

Accepting the diagnosis as real despite the darkness surrounding it eliminated any possibility of second guessing that I really had this unpleasant issue called cancer.

It could have gone the other way but an abnormal dose of belief and trust in the generosity and powers of Allah the Almighty, trusting the doctor and the hospital, the enormous support of family and friends made this difficult journey possible.

The opportunity to travel to 5-7 islands every month with Cancer Society of Maldives to create cancer awareness in the hope of saving human lives is a priceless gift resulting from this horrible cancer diagnosis.
