Jillian was diagnosed with Stage4b Hodgkins Lymphoma in May of 2024. What should have taken 3 months of treatment ended up in an 8 month battle due to so very many complications! She never complained during her entire treatment! Multiple hospitalizations, having a ileostomy placed and way too many drains, she smiled through it all! At Christmas this year she was given the great present of remission! Her journey still continues with planned surgeries in the days to come and that all too familiar worry of “will it come back?” People need to remember that cancer doesn’t just go away… it take a toll on a child.
