As a health care provider, I encounter cancer patients for their expected remedy. Some clients are health conscious to screen for the cancer with fear of it. Overinterpretation of non-cancerous condition as a potential cancer is a great fear and worrisome condition. These are the most commonly encountered conditions of fear of cancer. Uncertainty is always there from the side of service providers or duty-bearers because of inherent limitations on existing knowledge and services. Therefore, the varying levels of satisfaction on either side and the credibility on the demand side co-exist. I feel this creates a gap in unmet needs that needs address by stakeholders.
