ENGLISH TRANSLATION BELOW

Quest' opera fotografica è stata da me ideata nel concept e realizzata con il fotografo Arthur Vahia che ha curato il processo di post produzione artistica. È un inno di  celebrazione della vita oltre il giudizio limitante di malattia a sostegno dell' etica e dell' estetica del valore umano. "Un tumore è un terreno di fragilità sotto ai piedi.È un cambiamento inteso come cambio del momento del pensiero di sé. Incide la nostra anima, mentre i bisturi e le terapie l’aspetto del corpo, ma l’agilità ricuce come un filo di sutura la fragilità".

 L' opera è stata realizzata a pochi giorni del mio intervento di radicalizzazione di melanoma cutaneo. Fa parte di una campagna di sensibilizzazione comunicativa a favore della prevenzione che si intitola "Agile"  che è un progetto artistico itinerante aperto nella partecipazione al territorio ed alla ricerca che usa  l' inafferrabile forza dell'arte per:
-  innalzare l'attenzione sull' importanza temporale della prevenzione, incoraggiando al dibattito sociale che porti ad una maggiore consapevolezza nella comunità;
- sostenere l'approccio etico ed estetico per superare le definizioni limitanti di malattia.

ENGLISH TRANSLATION

This photographic work was conceived by me in its concept and created in collaboration with photographer Arthur Vahia, who oversaw the artistic post-production process. It is a hymn to the celebration of life beyond the limiting judgment of illness, supporting both the ethics and aesthetics of human value.

"A tumor is a ground of fragility beneath one’s feet. It is a change, a shift in the perception of oneself. It leaves a mark on our soul, while scalpels and therapies alter the body’s appearance. But agility, like a suturing thread, mends fragility."

This work was created just a few days after my radical excision surgery for cutaneous melanoma. It is part of a communicative awareness campaign in favor of prevention, titled "Agile"—an itinerant artistic project open to community participation and research. It harnesses the elusive power of art to:

– Raise awareness of the critical timing of prevention, encouraging social debate to foster greater consciousness within the community;

– Support an ethical and aesthetic approach to overcoming the limiting definitions of illness.
