This year World Cancer Day is a reflection of my journey—one of struggle, strength, and unwavering faith. My first battle with cancer in 2013 came at a time when I was working hard to provide for my children, pursuing my master’s degree while juggling work and responsibilities. There were moments of exhaustion, fear, and uncertainty, but giving up was never an option. Then, in 2024, cancer returned, testing me once again. Yet, here I am, still standing, still fighting, still moving forward. Every day is a gift, and every moment is a reminder of my strength. The journey continues, and so do I.
The journey hasn’t been easy. Every treatment, every challenge, and every moment of strength has shaped who I am today. Cancer may have tested me, but it never broke me.
Through it all, I am deeply grateful to Allah for giving me the strength to endure. I could not have come this far without my children, my brother, my sisters, my sister-in-law, family, and my very close friends who stood by me through every hardship. Their love, prayers, and unwavering support carried me through the darkest times. Even now, as I continue my medication while working and striving to fulfill my dreams, I am reminded every day of the blessings in my life.
To everyone facing battles, whether with illness, hardship, or personal struggles—know that you are never alone. With faith, resilience, and the support of loved ones, anything is possible. Let’s stand together #WorldCancerDay #GratefulHeart #StrengthInFaith #NeverGiveUp
