Person living with cancer

Emily, Taiwan, Province of China

Emily-Lymphoma

“I rather be the warrior, than the worrier”

I don’t ask "Why me?" because this is the greatest fortune among the misfortunes of my life.
When talking about having cancer, she read a lot of literature and made thorough preparations to face this imperfection in life. She also taught her children through example to face problems bravely and actively, rather than guessing or avoiding them. With short hair, she is straightforward and natural, gently holding the cat by her side, brimming with confidence: "Life is not meant to be this way, but I’m glad it’s me—I have the ability to overcome it!"
