Film director, Éanna Mac Cana, speaks about his recent feature length documentary film, 'Burkitt' which is about the life & work of Irish surgeon Dr Denis Burkitt who discovered Burkitt's lymphoma in sub-Saharan Africa in the 1960s. Mac Cana was diagnosed and treated for cancer in 2017 when he was 19 years old. In this video, the filmmaker opens up about his own experience of the disease while highlighting the current healthcare crisis affecting cancer patients in his hometown of Belfast.
