Sara was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma in 2021 at the age of 31. She went through a lumpectomy, chemotherapy and radiation during the height of the pandemic. Sara is now on hormone therapy for the next ten years. She began writing poetry during her treatment to help her cope and found it to be a nice way to connect with other cancer rebels. Sara also co-founded the Bloom Club which is a safe space for young women who have experienced to go on adventures together. @the.bloomclub

My plea to health systems, governments, and all other entities who play a part in the value chain - do better.  

We need a better way to connect the people who need better medicines with the companies that create them.
