Living in a region with limited resources, my commitment against cancer is driven by moral character and integrity. I advocate for truth, defend the weak, and fulfill every duty with enthusiasm. As I strive to elevate oncology and palliative care nursing, I envision becoming a leader in positive change, impacting the lives of those I serve.

The chemo journey was painful and being young I could understand that death was knocking on my door, but my family was there especially my late mum and dad. There were always there for me, lifting me up when I was down.

Millie underwent a Bone Marrow Transplant on the 26th June, 2019. Millie’s donor was her sister Olivia. 

Millie, now 12, has remained cancer free and is living her best life.
