I survived everything! From being a girl who was afraid of an even a very small prick, to the brave girl who survived cancer, life has taught me so much! 

No one wants to hear those words. You know what I mean. The ‘c’ word, the big casino. Unfortunately though, it was my turn. I can’t remember much of the conversation when I was told, I just remember key words / sentences.

I learned to appreciate the little things in life that bring me joy. I now feel a certain kinship with cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers.
