As a former Caregiver to my mother who battled with Stage Four Ovarian Cancer, and now as a member of the Illinois Special Commission on Gynecological Cancers, It has become a mission of mine to spread the word and fight for equal care amongst all people of color. Making sure that everyone has equal and fair access to care. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve, and ensure that policy is passed that will benefit all who are facing a Cancer Diagnosis.
