We are pleased to announce the launch of the new, web-based, Silica Control Tool.  The Ontario version of the tool is hosted by the Occupational Health Clinics for Ontario Workers (OHCOW) in partnership with British Columbia Construction Safety Alliance, IHSA, and CCOHS. The Silica Control Tool is a resource designed to assist Ontario’s Construction Industry with assessing silica exposures and developing job-specific exposure control plans. 

Under the international agency for research on cancer, crystalline silica is rated as a Group 1 Carcinogen.
