I am an ovarian cancer stage 3 survivor. I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer stage 3 last year just 2 months before my exams. I underwent a major surgery followed by 6 cycles of chemotherapy. I gave my Post graduation exam of dermatology just after my 2nd chemo. I was completely shattered during the whole process but still i fought the pain, side effects and mental trauma every single day. 

As a doctor i want to spread awareness about this silent killer and motivate cancer survivors about not losing hope.

When we talk about closing the care gap, it should be also seen that there is a closure in the knowledge gap too so that the public can be accurately informed of cancers and also know that the patients just do not thrive but survive
